Working On

What This Site is About

(a.k.a. Trying to keep ‘The Muse’ happy and fed)

So, fun fact: this whole digital file thing? Yeah, it wasn’t supposed to be a thing. By day, I work full-time as a professional vinyl decal and wrap installer. By night (or whenever I can steal a moment), I let the Muse out and figure out what it’s working on next, and lose hours designing artwork for my Cricut.

I got my Cricut Maker in 2019, purely for personal projects. Selling designs? Never crossed my mind. But then people started asking, and asking, and asking…. and by 2023, I finally caved and put some of my designs up for sale. Now, the income from these sales mostly just covers the cost of keeping this website running and feeding my never-ending supply of materials. (Seriously, I have so much cardstock.)

A creative crafting workspace, also known as the "Battle Station," filled with tools, materials, and in-progress projects.

But here’s the deal: I do this for fun. It’s a creative outlet, not a full-time gig. Not everything I make ends up in the shop—some projects are just for me because I love nerding out over my favorite video games, movies, and TV shows. I don’t take commissions, but I do take recommendations—just know that if your idea doesn’t spark joy (or wake up my muse from its nap), it may never see the light of day.

Oh, and fair warning—my Muse has the attention span of a goldfish with access to the Internet. Just because you see me start a project doesn’t mean it’ll be the next thing finished. My creative process is basically an open-world RPG, and sometimes my muse decides to abandon the main quest for an absurd number of side missions. So don’t be surprised if one minute I’m working on something cool, and the next, I’m deep into an entirely unrelated obsession. It’ll get done… eventually. Probably.

Basically, this site exists to share my passion projects, the occasional digital file, and whatever else my Muse decides to tackle. Feel free to browse, suggest ideas, or just sit back and enjoy the chaos. No pressure, just crafting.

This page is where I share my latest projects, prototypes, upcoming digital files, sales. Plus, you’ll get to see some of my failures along the way, which I believe are just as important as the successes!

I update my Facebook page regularly with behind-the-scenes looks at my creative process, so you can see what I’m working on before it’s even available on my website.

Remember that “little landscape shadow box that consumed my life for a month…” I was working on?

Yeah… about that…

Apparently deciding to make a 150-layer shadow box meant I actually needed 150 pieces of 12” × 12” cardstock.

Well… if I’m already buying cardstock, I might as well accidentally buy more cardstock. (To be fare, it was on sale)

So that means I’ve officially started adding the 12” × 12” Recollections Colour Palettes into the Recollections Colour Swatch Book!

- Green Palette
- Blue Palette
- Neutral Palette
- Red Palette
- Teal Palette

Still to go:
- Purple Palette
- Yellow/Orange Palette
- Pink Palette

The good news is that there weren’t actually a ton of new colours. Most of the sheets matched colours that were already available in the 8.5” × 11” line, which is exactly the kind of information I wanted this project to uncover. Once everything is finished, the master colour library and legend will show which colours are duplicates across the different packs and which ones are truly

I also wanted to say thank you to everyone who’s supported this project.

Whether you’ve purchased the Colour Swatch Book Toolkit or simply sent a donation to help out, you’re the reason this project keeps growing. Every dollar goes right back into buying more cardstock, scanning it, colour matching it, and documenting it for the library.

But we’re getting closer to having the most complete Recollections 65lbs Cardstock colour reference available, and I couldn’t have done it without all of your support. ❤️Image attachment

150 layers... in under a minute.

Here's the assembly time-lapse for Moonlit Valley!

To make filming manageable, I assembled the shadow box in groups of five layers at a time before combining everything into the final piece.

✨ 150 cardstock layers
✨ 30+ individually applied pieces
✨ Designed in Adobe Illustrator
✨ Cut on a Cricut Maker

Sometimes the magic isn't in the final piece... it's watching it slowly come to life.

  1. I’d love a Seahawks one! 🙂 These are amazing! Just found your page via a Cricut group yesterday (3/15/26) and am ordering some of your files. I REALLY appreciate the Recollections color guide!
